What we will fund

Grants are aimed at supporting people with short-term problems, or at crisis points in their lives, here are some examples:

  • Sickness resulting in sudden unemployment and short term lack of funds – support may be needed for food vouchers
  • Oven or fridge requiring emergency replacement

All applicants for Hardship funding require a reference from a Stonewater member of staff.  This may be a Tenancy Services Officer, Support Worker, Income Officer or Retirement Living Officer.

If you do not know an individual member of staff who can provide you with a reference, please contact the Stonewater Contact Centre in order to find out who may be able to help you.

Please discuss your application with your referee – you will be asked to give their details in the application process, and we will contact them to find out if they support your application.
